Igeekphone News, October 23rd: According to XiaomiTime, the current database shows that the early development work for the Xiaomi Pad 9 and Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro has already begun.
The new series still follows the tradition of naming previous Musical Instruments, with the code names being Erhu (erhu) and Guitar (guitar) respectively. For instance, the code name of the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro is piano (piano).
According to the release plan shown in the code, the Xiaomi Pad 9 is expected to be available in all regions around the world except Japan, while the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro will skip the Indian and Japanese markets and be launched in other global markets.

Currently, the Xiaomi Pad 9 series is still in the early stage of development, and the specific configuration information cannot be determined. However, based on the configuration of the previous generation, it can be inferred that the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro is expected to be equipped with the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Ultra, and its performance is among the top tier of tablets.
The Xiaomi Pad 8 and Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro were just released last month. They feature a 11.2-inch eye-protecting screen with a resolution of 3.2K. The overall thickness of the device is 5.75mm and it weighs 485g.

It is equipped with a built-in 9200mAh battery, pre-installed with the Surge OS 3, and supports the Xiaomi Focus Stylus Pro.
There are mainly two configuration differences between the two – processors and fast charging.
Xiaomi Pad 8: Fourth-generation Snapdragon 8s processor, supporting 45W fast charging
Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro: Equipped with Snapdragon 8 Ultra processor, it supports 67W fast charging.
It is expected that the Xiaomi Pad 9 series will also follow a similar plan, with consistent configurations such as the screen, but mainly differing in performance and charging.
