Xiaomi has revealed additional details about the upcoming REDMI K100 Pro series ahead of its official launch, highlighting significant upgrades to the display technology. According to the company, the new smartphones will feature Samsung’s latest M11 OLED luminescent material, delivering improved image quality while reducing power consumption.
The REDMI K100 Pro series is scheduled to launch in China at 7:00 p.m. (Beijing Time) on August 11, with Xiaomi continuing to unveil key specifications in the lead-up to the event.
New M11 OLED Display for Better Visuals and Efficiency
One of the biggest upgrades in the REDMI K100 Pro lineup is the adoption of the next-generation M11 OLED light-emitting material, paired with what Xiaomi describes as a new-generation “Super Pixel” display architecture.
According to Xiaomi, the panel also features:
- Full RGB lossless pixel arrangement
- Ultra-high 185Hz refresh rate
- Up to 4,500 nits local peak brightness
- Improved display clarity comparable to higher-resolution 2K panels

Xiaomi has also confirmed several flagship features for the REDMI K100 Pro Max, positioning the device as a premium gaming smartphone.

- Native optimization for more than 30 popular mobile games
- Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 flagship chipset
- Dedicated D2 AI graphics chip supporting simultaneous frame interpolation and super-resolution gaming
- Flagship touch-control chip with a 480Hz touch sampling rate
- Dedicated gaming antenna designed to reduce network latency
- Sound by Bose audio tuning for enhanced in-game sound effects, including clearer footsteps and gunfire positioning
Together, these hardware enhancements are intended to provide smoother gameplay, faster touch response, lower latency, and a more immersive gaming experience.
New “Cabernet Sauvignon Red” Color Option
Alongside the hardware announcements, Xiaomi has also unveiled a new “Cabernet Sauvignon Red” color variant for the REDMI K100 Pro Max.
The smartphone features a premium industrial design that includes:
- A 6.9-inch ultra-narrow bezel flat display
- Four-sided curved metal frame for improved ergonomics
- Integrated metal camera deco (DECOR)
- A newly designed floating light ring integrated into the rear camera module
The customizable light ring can synchronize with music playback, adding dynamic visual effects and further emphasizing the phone’s gaming-oriented aesthetic.

With the launch event just days away, Xiaomi continues to position the REDMI K100 Pro series as one of its most ambitious flagship smartphone releases of the year.
