Xiaomi Youpin has added a new high-output flashlight to its crowdfunding platform in China. The flashlight has a suggested retail price of 199 yuan, while the crowdfunding price is currently set at 99 yuan.
The new model focuses on long-distance illumination and flexible beam control. It joins other Xiaomi outdoor gadgets and smart devices designed for practical everyday and outdoor use. It can reportedly reach a maximum beam distance of 448 meters and offers illumination of up to 12,600 lux, making it suitable for activities such as nighttime travel, outdoor patrols, and searching for objects at a distance.

Adjustable Focus for Spot and Wide-Area Lighting
One of the flashlight’s main features is its sliding zoom mechanism. Users can move the adjustable head to switch between a focused beam for long-range lighting and a wider beam for illuminating a larger nearby area.
The focused setting is designed for viewing distant targets, while the wider beam can provide broader illumination when walking, working around a campsite, or moving through dark surroundings. This gives the flashlight greater flexibility than a fixed-beam design.
Five Lighting Modes
The flashlight provides five lighting modes that can be selected with a single click. These include high, medium, low, strobe, and SOS modes.
High brightness is intended for situations where longer-range visibility is needed. The medium setting balances brightness with battery life, while the low mode produces softer light for tasks such as reading inside a tent or finding items in a dark room.
The strobe mode can provide a flashing warning signal, while the SOS setting is designed to transmit a standard emergency signal when help is needed outdoors.
5,000mAh Battery and Extended Runtime
Power comes from a 5,000mAh 26800-format battery, giving the flashlight a relatively large energy capacity for extended outdoor use.
According to the product specifications, the high mode produces 680 lumens and can run for around 7 hours and 30 minutes. The medium mode outputs 332 lumens for up to 16 hours and 30 minutes, while the low mode provides 166 lumens with a maximum runtime of approximately 45 hours.
Four battery indicator LEDs are built into the body. Each indicator represents roughly 25% of the remaining battery level, allowing users to check the available power before heading outdoors.

USB-C Charging Hidden Inside the Zoom Head
The flashlight uses a USB-C charging port, which is concealed beneath the sliding focus head. Its USB-C interface also makes the flashlight compatible with the same widely adopted charging standard used by many modern consumer electronics. Moving the head outward exposes the charging interface, and users can recharge the battery with a standard USB-C cable.
A full charge takes approximately seven hours. During charging, the indicator light flashes blue and stops flashing once the battery is fully charged.
Aluminum Body and Heat Management
The flashlight uses an aluminum-alloy body for its main housing. Inside, an LED module with an aluminum nitride ceramic package substrate is used as part of the thermal design.
The dual heat-dissipation structure is intended to transfer heat away from the LED during extended operation. Better thermal management can help reduce brightness degradation caused by heat and may also contribute to longer component life.
Xiaomi Youpin Flashlight Price and Availability
The new high-power flashlight is currently available through Xiaomi Youpin crowdfunding in China. Its regular suggested retail price is 199 yuan, while the crowdfunding price is 99 yuan.
With a 448-meter claimed beam distance, adjustable focus, five lighting modes, a 5,000mAh battery, USB-C charging, and extended low-mode runtime, the flashlight is designed primarily for users who need portable lighting for outdoor activities and nighttime use.
As with other crowdfunding products, the 99-yuan price is a promotional crowdfunding price and may not represent the final retail price after the campaign ends.
