Last July, Xiaomi launched its first small foldable device – Xiaomi MIX Flip. This device not only has an exquisite appearance and a large-sized outer screen, but also offers flagship-level performance, making the small foldable device no longer a “beautiful little junk”. Once it was unveiled, it received wide acclaim from users.
After nearly a year, the Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 will make its debut this month. This device features a 6.85-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1.5K and supports a high refresh rate of 120Hz.
It is reported that when unfolded, the MIX Flip 2 is only 7.6mm thick and weighs approximately 190 grams. It is thinner and lighter than its predecessor. Moreover, it is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Ultra processor, has a Leica camera at the back, supports IPX8-level water resistance, 50W wireless charging, and has a battery capacity of over 5000mAh.
In addition, the Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 still retains the large-sized outer screen, and the Surging OS 2 is exclusively adapted for the outer screen. A dedicated display area will be set aside for this outer screen, allowing all software to run on it. The remaining screen space can display more content. Even without opening the cover, this device is still a highly usable small phone.
