Igeekphone News, December 5th: XiaomiTime disclosed yesterday that a new Xiaomi device with the model number 2608BPX34C has appeared in the GSMA database. It is speculated to be a Xiaomi triple foldable screen product, namely MIX TriFold.
In fact, Xiaomi had already showcased a related concept phone as early as 2018 and was regarded as an early explorer of the multi-foldable screen phone form. This registration information has made the outside world even more eager for the design to enter the mass production stage.
Xiaomi is expected to launch two foldable products, Xiaomi 17 Fold and MIX Flip 3, as early as the first quarter of 2026.
The company continuously adheres to the “dual-line folding strategy”, that is, it simultaneously offers both horizontal and vertical folding forms. The new model is expected to achieve iterative upgrades in structural strength, battery life, imaging performance, hinge design and HyperOS optimization.
In addition to the above two products, Xiaomi is also preparing another foldable device to be launched in the third quarter of 2026, which coincides with the GSMA registration date of 2608BPX34C (IT Home Note: aiming for August 2026).
The three-fold structure, while maintaining portability, can provide a larger unfolded display area than the existing MIX Fold series. The multi-fold form is still rare in the industry, and thus is regarded as an important technical node for Xiaomi.
