Around and the half, Vivo XPlay 7 appears in the rumors, dating back at least six months before disappearing again. Now it reappeared, and with rumors of prodigious characteristics: 10GB of RAM.
Not only, but the most optimistic rumors point to Vivo XPlay 7 a list of all the delirious dreams of fans of technology: in addition to RAM 10GB, we will have the Snapdragon 845, and 256GB or internal storage of 512GB, and – of course – a reader under the screen.
Right now, the only really credible option is the placement of a fingerprint reader under the screen, something Vivo has already done with some models. Of course, the device revealed little different from the equipment announced already in September, and it would be fundamental for Vivo to put on the market a new equipment with this innovative functionality. However, rumors go too far.
The only chance we actually see a Smartphone with so much RAM and storage will be in a limited-edition Pro version. Previously, several brands went this way, announcing limited runs of equipment with 8GB of RAM. Currently, with memory prices rising appreciably, 10GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage are extremely expensive predictors and difficult to articulate logistically, even if we think about paying well $1000 for smartphones.
There are also other important contradictions regarding what will be Vivo XPlay 7, specifically regarding the external look. Two different renders have appeared in recent days, showing a relatively identical device in both versions, but with two somewhat different arrangements of the main chambers, sometimes with a flash between them, sometimes with the flash under both.
Such variants are possible, but the screen shown on both renders shows zero edges, not even an iPhone X-style notch, with the front-to-transparent chambers. We will be there in the near future, perhaps at the end of 2018 with some luck, but for now we do not have the technology to do so, so at this moment I raise serious doubts about the truth of Vivo XPlay 7, in this way, unless we are looking for a future still something distant.
