Back in March, Huawei launched the Enjoy 8 series in China, including Enjoy 8 (Huawei Y7 Prime 2018), Enjoy 8 Plus (Huawei Y9 2018) and Enjoy 8e. Six months later, it seems that the company is preparing to launch its successor model, the Enjoy 9 Plus. This phone has been surprisingly new in the series of rendered leaks and some of the key specifications.
More specifically, the new series of Enjoy 9 Plus was shared this morning on social networking site Twitter by leaked expert Evan Blass. Looking at the rendered image below, obviously, Enjoy 9 Plus has a completely different design than its predecessor. This handset possesses a metal frame design with extremely eye-catching gradients.

On the front, the Enjoy 9 Plus comes with a “rabbit ears” design, with a notch that is as deep as the Pixel 3 XL and also houses a dual selfie camera and speakerphone. The screen is bent at the edges and the bezel at the bottom is also much thinner than previous Enjoy 8 Plus predecessors.
In terms of specifications, the Enjoy 9 Plus is equipped with a 6.5-inch LCD display, Full HD + (1080 x 2340 pixels), and a 19.5: 9 aspect ratio. Inside, it owns the hardware power of the new Kirin 710 processor, incorporating 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory.
Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus carries a dual camera system on both the front and back. According to Evan Blass, the camera’s rear panel consists of two 16MP + 2MP sensors arranged vertically and placed at the upper left corner of the phone. Below the camera is the LED flash and the words “AI Camera”.
In addition, it has a fingerprint sensor located in the center of the back and dual camera self-contained 13MP + 2MP on the front. The phone comes with a 4000mAh battery like the predecessor and is expected to be preloaded with the EMUI 8.2 interface when sold.
Overall, it looks like the Huawei Y9 (2019) specifications found on TENAA last week were pretty good. However, the TENAA list says Y9 (2019) will have a camera after 20MP + 2MP, while the front camera is 16MP. In addition to the 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal memory, the Y9 (2019) will also have additional configuration options with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory.
Currently, there is not any information regarding the release date as well as the price of the Enjoy 9 Plus. However, we believe this device will soon be released in the near future.
