At IFA, Sony came up with a single device, the Sony Xperia XZ3. It was expected that there might also be a successor for the XA2, it was already launched in February, simultaneously with the Sony Xperia XZ2. This turned out not to be the case, it also remained silent about the XA3 in all sources that previously leaked information about Sony devices.
From Mysmartprice, in collaboration with the renowned leaker @OnLeaks, they have shared some a renders and a 360-degree video that shows the design and features of the Xperia XA3, Sony’s new midrange phone. A design that evolves with the presence of a double rear camera.
The video shows a 360-degree render of the terminal, where you can see all the latest Xperia XA3 design from all angles. Some render that make it clear that Sony has managed to further reduce the upper and lower bevels compared to its predecessor, the Xperia XA2.
This filtering suggests that the smartphone will have a 5.9-inch screen with Full HD + resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels with an aspect ratio of 18: 9. The device would have dimensions of 155.7 x 68.3 x 8.4 mm and a thickness of 8.9 mm, according to rumors.
In terms of design, what stands out most is the double camera with both sensors stacked horizontally in the back. For its part, the Xperia XA2 only had a single 23MP resolution camera on the back.
You can also see that the classic volume buttons are located on the right side of the terminal, where there is also a lock button, which seems to have a fingerprint sensor. The smartphone would also have a type C USB port on the bottom and a 3.5mm headphone jack on top.
At the moment the specifications of the Sony Xperia XA3 are unknown, but from the same source point out that the terminal would have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor inside, 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, and the operating system with which it would arrive it would be Android 9.0 Pie. In addition, the connectivity options would include Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac Bluetooth 5.0 low energy, GPS and 4G VoLTE.
The rest of the phone’s key specifications remain a mystery at this time, as is its possible release date. It is expected that Sony will officially announce the Xperia XA3 together with the Xperia XA3 Ultra sometime in the 4th quarter of this year or at CES 2019, to be held in January next year.
