The company Honor introduced the flagship smartphone Honor V20. In addition to the trend display with a hole for the selfie-camera, the new product received a powerful filling with a liquid cooling system, an advanced photo module based on a 48MP sensor and a glass case with a gradient color.
The display of the smartphone with around 4.5-mm notch in the upper left corner, a diagonal of 6.4 inches and a resolution of 2310×1080 pixels received an aspect ratio of 19: 9. The back cover of the gadget, on which the fingerprint scanner is located, is made of glass.
The eight-core processor Kirin 980, working with the support of two blocks of neural computing and the graphics processor Mali-G76, became the “heart” of the device. Also, the device is equipped with a ToF sensor, which determines the distance to objects in the frame and allows you to create their exact 3D models for applications with augmented reality functions.
Honor V20 was the first smartphone of the company, which has the possibility of slow-motion shooting at a speed of 960 frames per second. Selfie camera is represented by a single sensor with a resolution of 25MP. Both cameras received support for the functions of artificial intelligence for automatic recognition of the scene in the frame and post-processing of images.
The battery capacity with support for fast charging technology with a capacity of 22.5W is 4000mAh. Charging and connecting to a PC are made using the universal USB Type-C port. The operating system uses Android 9.0 Pie with a proprietary shell Magic UI 2.0.1.
The device supports the proprietary technology Magic Turbo, capable of independently choosing the optimal network speed, combining the work of mobile and Wi-Fi networks.
The Honor V20 will be released in black, red and blue colors of the case with a gradient fill. The basic version with 6GB of RAM and a built-in 128GB drive will cost $435, a modification of 8/128GB will cost customers about $507. For the top version of 8/256GB will have to pay about $579. In China, the smartphone will go on sale January 22, 2019. The presentation of the global version of the smartphone called Honor View 20 will be held on January 22, 2019, in Paris.
