Within a few days, on August 7, we have an appointment with Samsung to meet a new high-end device that, if the tradition is maintained, should not be other than the Galaxy Note 10. Last year, the Koreans went ahead a bit and also presented the Samsung Tab S4 a couple of days before the Note 9, and it seems that this year you could choose the same path with the Galaxy Tab S6.
This tablet has been filtered repeatedly, including design and specifications. Sammobile showed the first real images of the device and 91Mobiles put forward almost all its specifications. Now, Android Headlines has published what appear to be press images. There are no specifications, but it is “confirmed” (always in quotes when we talk about leaks) the design we have seen so far.
As we can see in the filtered images, the Galaxy Tab S6 would have a design very similar to the Galaxy Tabs S4, although there are some changes in the back. The most striking is the slit in the back to save and load the pen (pencil whose functions are unknown for now) and the double camera, something not too common in the sector of tablets.
And now that we talk about cameras, the media argues that it is likely that one of the two sensors is a ToF to enhance the taking of portraits. Recent leaks argued that their resolutions would be 13 + 5MP, so it is a piece of information that fits. And yes, it seems that there will be two cameras in the same way that it seems that we will not have headphones jack since it is not seen in any of the images. The sound will go hand in hand with AKG, as usual.
Electromagnetic pins that could indicate the compatibility of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 with external accessories are also seen in the images, see a case with keyboard. In fact, some of the images obtained by Android Headlines can be seen clearly. It is striking that you can not see the fingerprint reader anywhere, so there are several possibilities open: it is on a side button or is under the screen, something possible given that the Galaxy S10 have it and that the Galaxy Tab S6 will be a high-end tablet.
For the rest, what is “known” so far is that the Galaxy Tab S6 will come with the Snapdragon 855 as a processor, with 6 or 8GB of RAM and 128 or 256GB of internal storage, in both cases expandable by cards micro SD. It seems that there will also be 2 variants, SM-T860 and SM-T865, one with WiFi and another with WiFi and LTE. If something is almost certain is that there should not be much time to see it with our own eyes, so it’s a matter of waiting.
