Of all the Galaxy Note 10 variants of Samsung, the Plus with 5G (full name Galaxy Note 10+ 5G ) has the code name SM-N976N. And it is precisely this code that has popped up in the Geekbench online database, ready to show the muscles of its Exynos 9825.
If you were hoping for a much more powerful “Plus” version than the standard one, you will be disappointed: looking at the basic model’s Geekbench results , the difference compared to the Note 10+ 5G is minimal: the latter has totaled 4532 points in single-core and 10431 in multi-core, a gap around one hundred points compared to the previous ones.
But on the other hand, the hardware is very similar: we find in both the same Exynos 9825 and in the 10 + 5G variant we find 12GB of RAM against the 8 of the standard one.
So it seems that Samsung could sharpen the performance of the upcoming smartphone a little bit. It is important to note, however, that this is a preliminary result, which can and will probably change. After all, the test device uses Android Pie and is expected to arrive a newer Android Q, as well as numbers, may interfere with the optimization of the extension One UI.
So we will see over time whether the new Note 10+ will be a truly bestial device, or whether it will not shift as much as compared to its sister S-series models. Samsung will unveil new Note 10 and Note 10+ models next week, August 7, at a press conference in New York. Pre-orders should start immediately, and the news will probably be available before the end of August.
