Chuwi is one of the more recognized Chinese tech vendors on the market, and it launched a micro-computer called the GBox Pro and GT BOX Mini PC, interesting and economical Chuwi GT Box Mini PC, which would come to relieve its excellent HiGame predecessor from the market, CHUWI GBox Pro a low consumption device that is a version of the CHUWI GBox, In this article, we will see What’s the difference between Chuwi GBox Pro vs Chuwi GT BOX Mini PC? Let’s check out quickly comparison review of both devices here.

    Design

About the appearance of the Chuwi GBox Pro, the body is a very compact design, lightweight with a super portable feature and convenient to carry. It combines the smallness to fit in the palm of your hand and the design that does not damage the interior regardless of the location. Chuwi GBox Pro is very compact. The milled metal body measures 18.7 x 13.7 x 3.8 centimeters. Two monitors can be connected simultaneously to a mini-computer. The interface menu is more than enough. We see USB C, two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI, a VGA connector, and a memory card slot.

And Chuwi GBox Pro similar in shape to the old cheese grater Mac Pros Apple, but of course much smaller. Chuwi promises dimensions of 17.3 x 15.8 x 7.3cm and a weight of 860g. The chassis is made of aluminum, the panels and ventilation inlets of black plastic. It clearly changes gears with a much less powerful chip but is not lacking in appeal. The dimensions of the new device are quite modest: 17.30 x 15.80 x 7.30 cm. As the demand for convenient office work and entertainment increases, consumers are fond of those products that are more portable, that’s why Chuwi GT Box hasn’t made any changes in its appearance–it looks same as HiGame. Compared with those traditional workstations measuring 30 liters, GT Box has an ultra-compact case that only weighs 1.3kg, which is 13.5 times smaller and lighter.

    Hardware

CHUWI GBox Pro includes the Intel Atom X7-E3950 Quad-Core processor, an Apollo Lake manufactured in 14nm with a TDP of 12W and a base frequency of 1.6Ghz that includes an Intel HD Graphics 505 GPU with 18UE. The RAM memory is 4 GB LPDDR3, includes 64GB of eMMc storage memory and an extra slot to install a SATA3 storage unit.

And CHUWI GT Box includes an Intel Core i3-5005U 14nm processor with 2 cores and 4 wires with a basic speed of 2Ghz and an Intel HD 5500 GPU cooled by an internal fan. The base RAM is 8GB DDR3L, expandable up to 16GB, includes a 256 M.2 SSD and has an internal bay for another 2.5-inch SATA3 storage unit.

    Features

CHUWI GBox Pro aims to be a mini PC with high energy efficiency as a point where energy efficiency is extremely important. Adaptive power efficiency that can combine an operating system and energy-efficient hardware components can maintain power consumption of fewer than 10 watts on the whole equipment. Moreover, the latest 2.4 G / 5 G dual-band wireless LAN of LEEE 802.11 ac standard makes immediate access possible. In addition, RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet can transfer data at over 10 million bits per second.

And The Chuwi GT Box offers a Wifi5 and Bluetooth 4.0 as well as a rather sober connection: Nothing on the front panel which remains very sober with a single start button. On the rear side are two HDMI CEC ports, two USB 2.0 ports and two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, an Ethernet Gigabit socket and separate 3.5 mm headphone and microphone jacks. This mini-PC contains 8GB DDR3 RAM for Advanced Multitasking. SSD with the capacity 256GB is used for data storage, and also a slot for M.2 SATA memory expansion is available.
