Samsung‘s latest flagship phones Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ officially introduced, although only days remain informed about the phone continues to come. And today Ishawn Agarwal, who has been making a habit of sharing leaked information about the upcoming handset, seems to think the Galaxy Note 10 could have the highest waterproof rating of any Samsung phone yet.
Agarwal states that the new Galaxy Note 10 will have an IP69 water resistance rating. The Galaxy Note 9 had an impressive IP68 rating. That would mean it would last 30 minutes submerged in 30m of water. If this is true, the new Galaxy Note 10 would be able to handle more extreme temperatures and pressure when submerged. This certainly fits in with Samsung’s attempts to position the phone as ready for anything.
Meanwhile, most of the sources of leaks converge on the fact that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ will be built on the 2nd-gene 8-nm Exynos chipset. And the Korean company gave an indirect confirmation of this. In social networks published a teaser for the new chip Exynos, which will be presented on August 7, the same day as the flagship smartphones.
“The evolution of power” (Power evolved), – says the slogan of the Koreans. There is no specific name here, but it is called Exynos 9825 on the Web (Exynos 9820 became the heart of the Galaxy S10). In addition to SoC, the new products will receive an updated Dynamic AMOLED display with a single front-facing center, a new standard ROM UFS 3.0, a camera with three levels of aperture, a ToF-sensor in the older version and an S Pen stylus with support for gesture control.
Recently, a Twitter user Sudhanshu Ambhore, who posted the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Geekbench benchmark test scores, showing details of its overall performance with the Exynos 9825 chipset and 5G connection.
The scores of 10431 (multi-core) and 4532 (single-core) are good enough to place the Galaxy Note 10+ among the highest-scoring Android smartphones ever seen. The smartphone version with Qualcomm’s chip (codename msmnile, or Snapdragon 855) for 5G connections (12GB RAM, Android 9 Pie platform) showed slightly better scores.
Tests have shown, however, that the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, launched almost a year ago, remain the most powerful on the market. In the same Geekbench tests, the iPhone XS Max scored 4798 single-core, with 11216 multi-core points – which puts it above the new Galaxy Note 10+, showing that the model has aged well (the iPhone XS scored 4831 and 11178 respectively). Samsung will officially launch the Galaxy Note 10 series on August 7 at Unpack 2019, its own event.
