The Pixel 4 has been leaked for months and Google has itself officially communicated about it, but this new leak goes even further than what we have been allowed so far. Mishaal Rahman, from XDA Developers, has released two smartphone photos that circulated on the Telegram messaging app. We see the front and back of Pixel 4. The images look legitimate: they confirm the design elements we already knew through renderings.
As usual, Google offers a design far from current industry standards. No borderless screen, notch or punch, the company Mountain View put on a good old border that has even disappeared from the mid-range smartphones of Android manufacturers for a while already. You can see on a photo the lighting and volume buttons.
At the back, there is a square photo setup at the top left that should be similar to what we will find on the next iPhone. Google abandons the unique photo module that has made the feature of the range since its inception for the benefit of a dual sensor, accompanied by a LED Flash. A previous rumor indicated that it would be a 12MP sensor with phase detection autofocus and a 16MP telephoto lens.
The mobile, as well as its XL version, will in all likelihood officially be launched in the course of October 2019. Google Pixel 4 will benefit from remote navigation, which allows you to control the device without touching it with gestures. The US giant has also announced the presence of an improved and more secure Face ID. Moreover, there should not be a fingerprint reader on Pixel 4: it does not in any case not seen on the photos and the probability of a fingerprint sensor under the screen seems low.
According to earlier information, the smaller 5.7-inch Google Pixel 4 has a 2800mAh battery, while the larger model has a 3700mAh battery. This means that the smaller Pixel has a slightly smaller battery compared to the previous year (from 2915mAh to 2800mAh), while the larger pixel has a stronger one (from 3430mAh to 3700mAh).
Of course, it depends on the performance and efficiency of the pixel – I would have liked more in the small Google Pixel 4. Both devices will use the Snapdragon 855, an estimated expansion to 6GB of RAM, and will be available in both 64GB and 128GB versions. When will we be able to see and buy Google Pixel 4? Probably in October.
