An inexpensive 2in1 device for work is currently very often chosen by a large group of users. The Chuwi company directs its new product to them, which announced the launch of the Chuwi UBook Pro model. This is an improved version of the Ubook design that hit the market this year. An important change is even the use of a much newer and more efficient chip from the Intel Amber Lake family.
Chuwi UBook Pro is a 2in1 computer equipped with an IPS 12.3 ” screen and 3: 2 format. The manufacturer states that the display resolution is FHD, but with this format, it is definitely not the standard 1080p. The manufacturer also decided to significantly improve the processor. The m3-6Y30 model, present in the regular UBook version, was replaced, replacing it with a more modern Intel Core m3-8100Y chip. This one offers 2 cores and 4 threads, works with a base frequency of 1.1 GHz and 3.4 GHz in Turbo, and its TDP is 5 W.
The board also has an integrated Intel UHD Graphics 615 graphics chip and 8 GB of LPDDR3 RAM. The user has at his disposal an SSD medium with a capacity of 256 GB and a TF card reader. In the graphics, we can see that the computer definitely provides two USB 3.0 ports, a headphone jack, and video outputs. The set includes a stylus that recognizes up to 2048 pressure levels. The light, backlit keyboard with touch panel, which should be useful when working with text, has not been forgotten either.
The whole is to weigh only 780 g, while the thickness of the UBook Pro will be only 9 mm. Computer sales start in two weeks. Unfortunately, you have not specified how much you will spend on it, but it will definitely be more expensive than a regular Chuwi UBook, costing around $ 500.
