It seems that Surface Book 2 was introduced a long time ago by Microsoft, but we must remember that this team was presented in 2017. And 2020 may be the year in which we see his successor if it is finally confirmed that the filtration of a possible Surface Book 3 is real.
Microsoft could be working on the development of a Surface Book 3. An evolution of the model that we all know and from which some of its features would have leaked, at least in relation to the hardware it would mount. Thanks to the 3DMark software used to measure the potential of the equipment, a device of Microsoft has shown in a benchmark with GPU Nvidia Max-Q and processors of Intel 10th generation.
The two future references share an Intel Core i7 1065G7 processor, one of the laptops has a GTX 1660 Ti Max-Q and the other a GTX 1650 Max-Q. The Core i7 1065G7 processor is a 10 nm engraved CPU, with 4 physical cores and 8 threads, with a base speed of 1.30 GHz and a Boost of 3.90 GHz. Its TDP is 15-W, which can be reduced to 12-W or 25-W in certain configurations.
The GTX 1650 Max-Q and GTX 1660 Ti Max-Q are GPUs from the Turing architecture of Nvidia, etched in 12-nm, with 4GB of GDDR5 and 6GB of GDDR6. The future breakthrough desired by AMD in the mobile world (Ryzen mobile and Navi mobile) raises the question of Surface Book 3 in the colors of AMD.
For now, there is no more data on this supposed Surface Book 3, so we have no choice but to wait for new leaks and especially until Microsoft offers some information, already official, about it.
