On a teaser published in the Chinese social network Weibo, the date is confirmed, although the technical characteristics of the smartphone are not given. But the chipset of the device is separately allocated.
It is expected that “under the hood” Honor 30S will be Kirin 820 with support for 5G networks. The chipset will become the heir to the Kirin 810, and the Honor 30S will be the first to receive a new product.
Previously, information appeared that the Kirin 820 is built on a 7 nm process technology. It uses Cortex-A77 cores and a Mali-G77 video accelerator. Also, the chipset will receive modified components for image processing and processing of mathematical operations. It is possible that one of the smartphones of the Huawei Nova 7 line will receive the same chipset.
It is expected that the Honor 30S will receive a display with a hole for the front camera in the upper left corner of the display. The main camera will receive 4 modules and an LED flash. Battery capacity is still unknown, but the smartphone can get support for fast charging 40 watts.
