Recently, Xiaomi has announced the Mi Note 10 Lite smartphone, which is equipped with a Snapdragon 730G chip paired with 6GB of RAM. The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite storage has a capacity of 128GB or 64GB depending on the modification. Under the hood of the novelty is a battery for 5260mAh with 30W rapid charging support. The MIUI 11 based Android 10 OS comes preloaded.
It has been rumored that this model in China will be sold as the Xiaomi Mi CC10. The Chinese manufacturer has confirmed plans to release a device with this name, however, it will be a brand new device.
Zia Zhiyuan, the head of Xiaomi’s marketing department, spoke with fans on China’s Weibo social network. The manager officially announced that the smartphone, presented on Thursday, April 30, will definitely not enter the Chinese market under the name Xiaomi Mi CC10.
In March, a list of Xiaomi phones that are lined up for Q3 launch had surfaced online. It revealed that the company is planning to Mi CC10 and Mi CC10 Pro. When Zhiyuan was asked whether the Mi Note 10 Lite will be arriving in China as Mi CC10, he refuted the claim.
This is in line with Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun’s statement from November last year. He had said that all Xiaomi phones for China above 2000 yuan ($283) pricing will come with support for 5G connectivity. The MI Note 10 Lite that debuted in Europe yesterday is a 4G phone that is priced at 349 euros ($382).
