According to foreign developers xDA-Developers, Xiaomi today launched a high-end QLED TV in India — Xiaomi QLED TV 4K 55, equipped with Android TV 10 system and HDMI 2.1 interface, priced at 54,999 rupees, or about RMB 4,900 yuan.
QLED displays use an extra layer of quantum dots compared to conventional LED backlit LCD displays, which helps produce richer colors and better contrast. The term was popularized by Samsung, but is now used by many other brands, including TCL and OnePlus.
Mi QLED TV 4K TV uses a 55-inch panel with a slim frame and a screen that accounts for up to 96%. From the front, the design looks a lot like the Xiaomi mi TV 5 series, but with nuances. The TV has 4K resolution, supports HDR10 + and Dolby vision, covers 100% of the NTSC gamut, and has a refresh rate of 60Hz. When it detects a console like the Xbox or SONY PS5, the TV automatically switches to game mode.
For audio, the TV has six speakers, including four full-frequency units and two treble units, and can reach 30 watts of power.

In terms of software, Xiaomi’s QLED TV runs Android TV 10. In addition, the TV also uses the latest version of Xiaomi’s proprietary content platform — Patchwall 3.0.
