Last year, Samsung launched the Galaxy F41 as its first F series phone in India. Recent reports have revealed that the Korean company will soon launch a phone in this lineup, called the Galaxy F62. Today, a list of Flipkart has just posted pictures of the Samsung Galaxy F62 and revealed that this phone will be released on February 15.
In addition to the launch date, the leaked image also shows that the upcoming mid-range model of Samsung will use the “hole punch” screen design on the front to house the selfie camera. On the back, the Galaxy F62 has a body with eye-catching gradient gradients and a square camera cluster located in the top left corner containing 4 lenses.
And yet, if you look closely, it can be seen that the power button of this phone is designed slightly concave compared to the bezel, so it is more likely that it will be integrated with a fingerprint sensor. Regarding other configuration information, according to data provided by Geekbench, the Galaxy F62 will use the Exynos 9825, the high-end SoC used in the Galaxy Note 10 series launched in 2019.
The company claims in its teaser that the phone scores 452,000+ points in AnTuTu, 2,400 points in Geekbench 5’s multi-core test, and 68fps in GFXBench 5 (probably Manhattan 3.1 1080p offscreen).
Another leak from last week also revealed that the Galaxy F62 has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display and it will impress with a 7000 mAh battery, promising to respond well to 2-3 long days of high intensity use by users. Other leaks point towards 6GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, Android 11 operating system with One UI 3.1 UI, 32MP front camera and 64MP four rear camera setup.
Other features that we can expect with the Samsung Galaxy F62 are a dual-SIM card slot, LTE, GPS, Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It could be compatible with 25W fast charging. Its selling price is rumored to be under Rs 25,000 (about $343).
