As we get closer to the Unpacked event, which we expect Samsung, one of the South Korean-based technology giants, to hold in July, more Galaxy Z Fold 3 news emerges. The device is slowly going through the certification process with carriers and regulators, and most recently, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 has received BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification meaning the device has been approved for sale in the country.
We’ve also confirmed from trusted leaker Evan Blass that the device will indeed support the S-Pen, although it’s not been definitively said that the device will come with an S-Pen out of the box, suggesting that the device must be purchased as an additional accessory.
We already know that Samsung has entered mass production of its next-generation foldable smartphone, and there are rumors that Samsung is in a rush to sell the smartphone, and its price is reportedly significantly lower than the $1980 Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2.
It is also rumored that the device will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset, with 12GB of RAM and 256/512GB of storage capacity, a 4380mAh battery, and 25W fast charging support. It will also reportedly have an in-display fingerprint reader and an under-display front camera.
Although what we said about the technical specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is not official information, this information was leaked to the internet by people with a high probability. The only thing we are waiting for right now is for Samsung to hold an Unpacked event and introduce the highly anticipated device to us consumers.
