The new Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 will possibly be the most premium smartphone that we will see this year from the Chinese giant. The device will be loaded with specifications of the highest level in all its sections. Previous reports suggested that it could hit the market with more than 100W of load power. Now, this seems to have been confirmed.
As of today, the device has already been certified by the Chinese entity TENAA, although the agency has not yet published its full specifications. Now, it has received the China Compulsory Certification (3C), and the certificate confirms that it will support 120W wired ultra-fast charging technology.
Thanks to a leak last month, it was revealed to us that the device will be powered by a 5000mAh battery. In addition to the 120W charging protocol, the terminal will also be compatible with lower power technologies such as 15W, 27W, and 66W.
According to previous leaks, the future Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset or the recently introduced Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+. It is also said that it could draw power from a 4500mAh battery. In addition to the confirmed 120W ultra-fast charging, it is also said that it could feature 80W super-fast wireless charging technology.
Similarly, it is very likely that the Mi Mix 4 is the first model (or one of the first) to run as standard the company’s new custom layer: MIUI 13. A recent report stated that the Chinese giant can perform a launch event in mid or late August to announce multiple products, among which would be the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4, Mi Pad 5 series, and the Mi CC11.
To finish, one of the main selling points of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 will be in its front camera system hidden under the screen. According to the Ice Universe leaker, the camera sensor will be completely invisible. We will have to wait for the launch of the device to know what the results will be in terms of image quality.
