In this regard, today Wang Hua from the Public Relations Department of Xiaomi Group brought some good news to everyone. He said that he “will not let the Family Guard Function leave for too long”, implying that he is expected to return within a period of time after the suspension of services.

It is reported that the Family Guard Function of Xiaomi was launched in MIUI 11, which allows you to control the smartphones of your family members, mainly children, and elderly parents. To do this, you need to activate Family Guardian on both smartphones.

Xiaomi officially stated that after the service is stopped, the guardian terminal will not be able to continue to use all guardian functions, including but not limited to viewing the location of the guarded terminal, device and application usage, etc.

The guarded terminal will no longer be able to continue to use all information viewing functions, including but is not limited to viewing reminders, receiving push notifications when the permissions are modified by the guarding terminal, etc. The family guardian entrance in the mobile phone housekeeper App will also be closed.
