The next flagship smartphone of Motorola will be called the Moto Edge X, and while we do not know exactly when it will be unveiled, a new media report claims that the smartphone is likely to have a global release in January as the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra.
In a report by TechnikNews, it was learned that the new flagship was launched with the code names “Rogue” and “HiPhi”. The new device is expected to be introduced in China in December and worldwide in January 2022. Motorola’s new flagship will receive the Android 13 update.
According to TechnikNews, the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra will have a 6.67-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. Its processor will be a Qualcomm chipset codenamed ‘taro’. Most likely, this processor will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898. It is expected to be offered for sale with two different configuration options. It may come in 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variants.
Equipped with triple rear cameras, the device will have two 50MP snappers and a 2MP depth sensor. There will be a 60MP selfie camera inside a perforated cutout on the front. Its camera is said to support 4K video capture. The new Motorola smartphone will come out of the box with Android 12 and will later receive the Android 13 update.
The device, which has IP52 certification, is water and dust-resistant. There will be no 3.5mm headphone jack. It will house the Google Assistant button. It will come with stereo speakers, three microphones, 5G, and Bluetooth 5.2 built-in. Finally, its 68W fast-charging battery will have a capacity of 5000mAh. According to the source, the included 68W adapter charges the phone from 0 to 50% in less than 15 minutes and all the way up to 100 percent in less than 35 minutes.
The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra is expected to officially launch in China next month as the Moto Edge X, and since Motorola has already excited it, expect to hear more from the company as we approach it. His discovery in December.
