Huawei Clamshell Foldable Screen Phone: Released in December

Huawei will hold a new product launch conference at the end of the year to officially release a new generation of folding screen mobile phones. It uses the up and down folding scheme to pay tribute to the classic clamshell function machine.d

Now the news broke @RODENT950 has exposed the patent of Huawei Clamshell flip-type folding screen mobile phone on the social platform. As shown in the picture, it has a secondary screen on the back and is also equipped with dual cameras.

@RODENT950 broke the news that Huawei’s clamshell foldable-screen phone will be officially released in December. At the same time, Huawei’s new smartwatch will be on display, which supports blood pressure measurement.

There are already clamshell folding screen phones on the market. The representative models are Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 and Motorola Blade 5G folding screen phones. The folding solution of Huawei’s new folding screen is similar to the previous two models.

The detailed difference is that Huawei Clamshell folding screen will be equipped with its own HarmonyOS operating system. In the new mobile phone form of the folding screen, Huawei HarmonyOS is expected to bring a new way of interaction.

In terms of core configuration, considering that Huawei’s own Kirin 9000 5G chips are not much left, Huawei’s new folding screen phones may use Qualcomm chips.

Since most of the current folding screens are positioned in the ultra-high-end market, Huawei’s folding screens may be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series flagship processors. If this is the case, then it will not support 5G networks.
