Part of OPPO Find X5 was revealed today in a post by weibo user @digitalChat. The series is tentatively scheduled to have three models, which will be equipped with Dimensity 9000 / Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 dual platforms. In addition to the Find N foldable phone, OPPO will introduce a new device that folds vertically inward, which may not be included in the Find X5 series and will be part of the Find N series.
The blogger also revealed that the new device will be released in the first half of 2022.
At the launch of mediatek’s Dimensity 9000 5G mobile platform, OPPO announced that the next generation Find X flagship series will debut with Dimensity 9000. The SoC uses TSMC’s 4nm process, using ARM V9 architecture and supporting LPDDR5X memory.
According to the field measurement of Dimensity 9000 engineering machine recently exposed, the running score of this chip has reached 1.02 million points, and the multi-threading score of Geekbench 5 has reached 4,317 points, which is significantly improved compared with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and lower power consumption.

OPPO has unveiled its first home-grown imaging chip, the Mariana MariSilicon X, which is expected to be used in the Find X5 series of phones.
