Last month, the company announced that the New Snapdragon 8 mobile platform will be available for the core black Shark 5 series phones, and now the specs of the new phones have been fully revealed.
According to the blogger @digital Chat today, black Shark 5 series includes two models: Black Shark 5 and Black Shark 5 Pro. Black Shark 5 has a 6.67-inch 2400*1080 resolution ultra high brush AMOLED display, equipped with Snapdragon 870+12GB memory, Front 13 megapixel camera, rear 64 megapixel main camera, built-in 4650mAh battery, supporting dual-core 100 watt flash charge, three dimensions of 163.83×76.25×10.37mm, weight 223g.
Black Shark 5 Pro is equipped with a 6.67-inch 2400*1080 resolution ultra high brush AMOLED display, snapdragon 8 Gen1+16GB of RAM, 13 megapixel front camera and 108 megapixel rear main camera. It is built-in 4650mAh battery, supporting double core 100w flash charge, three dimensions of 163.86×76.53×9.8mm, weight 226g.
In addition, Black Shark 5 series is expected to have SSD storage. The technology has been used in the 4S Pro, which Luo Yuzhou, CEO of Black Shark technology, called “the first in the Android camp.”

It is worth mentioning that Tencent is in talks to buy Xiaomi’s Black Shark Technology for 2.7 billion yuan, sources said earlier. After the transaction, Black Shark’s future business focus will shift from gaming phones to VR devices as a whole — Tencent will provide content and Black Shark will provide VR hardware entry.
