Samsung has announced a Galaxy Unpacked launch event on August 10. Later, 91Mobiles and Pricebaba released renderings of Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4.
Unsurprisingly, the smartphone will be unveiled alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 4 at Samsung’s Unpacked event, where igeekphone will have more on it.
The new phone will also be available in at least four colors: beige, grey, grey-green (which may be exclusive to some markets) and black. It also appears to be thinner and lighter than the previous foldable model, possibly weighing in at around 250g based on the revelations.
Based on previous revelations, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8+Gen 1 chip, with a 4400mAh battery and 25W charge, as well as a rear-facing triple camera design with 50MP main camera, 12MP ultra-wide Angle, 10MP telephoto (3x optical zoom), It is also expected to feature a 7.6-inch AMOLED home screen (120Hz refresh rate) and a 6.2-inch secondary screen with HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
Overall, though, the design looks more or less like the Galaxy Z Fold 3. The focus of this generation is to improve durability and make it more rustproof and waterproof, foreign media said.
The image above and below, from 91Mobiles, show the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 Phantom black, beige and grey-green in three colors and the Galaxy Z Flip4 in gray, purple, gold and light blue.
The renderings also show that the foldable device will feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a volume button on the right and a SIM card slot on the left. Zoom in a little bit and you can also see that there are two sensors, although one is an under-screen camera and the other is still uncertain.
Galaxy Z Flip 4 has a perforated center design that also appears to feature a side-mounted fingerprint, a volume button on the right and a USB Type-C port on the bottom.

Right now, Blass hasn’t shared other renderings of the Fold 4 or Galaxy Z Flip 4, but they did mention that there will be more renderings in the future showing the device from different angles, as well as Thom Browne versions and Bespoke color schemes.
