Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi recently released the teaser for a new smartphone Redmi A1. The company is going to launch Redmi 11 Prime and Redmi 11 Prime 5G in India on 6 September. Now the company has confirmed that Redmi A1 will also be launched in the country on the same day. This will be a budget smartphone.
Xiaomi has given this information through social media channels. A microsite has also been released on the Mi Store ahead of the launch. Here are some specifications of this upcoming smartphone.
It is reported, that the Redmi A1 will come in Black, Blue, and Green colors. Its design is going to be quite sleek and handy and the leather texture will be seen in its rear. In this, a rectangular camera module has been included in which a dual camera sensor will be seen with an LED flash.
On the front, the waterdrop notch has been given in Redmi A1. The company has kept the design of this smartphone quite sleek. The volume button is placed on the right side of the smartphone. There is no rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and it is not clear whether it will be paired with the power button.
If we talk about the specifications, the Redmi A1 smartphone is sure to be released in India with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage options. It will enter the market in white and green color options. It is likely to have a 6.58 -inch Full HD Plus IPL LCD display. 90Hz refresh rate is given.
This phone is equipped with a MediaTek Helio A22 chip and will work with Android 11 support. The Redmi A1 smartphone is said to have a quad dual camera setup. The main camera has a 50MP sensor. The second camera is equipped with 2 depth sensors. Along with these, a selfie camera with a 5MP sensor has been installed.
A long-lasting 5000mAh battery is provided, which can support 18W fast charging. Connectivity options include 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, and multifunctional NFC support. Its exact price has not been disclosed. But, after a long time, Xiaomi launched for INR10,000 in India. It is said that Redmi A1 will be launched inside.
