Xiaomi founder Lei Jun, chairman and CEO of Xiaomi Group, said on social media today that he is testing a new phone, which will be released worldwide soon.
The new product Lei was referring to is Xiaomi’s 12T series for overseas markets, which includes the 12T and 12T Pro models.
Among them, the 12T Pro uses a 200-megapixel sensor for the first time, which is Xiaomi’s flagship image with the highest number of pixels so far, and is called the “pixel king of Xiaomi phones.”
Leaks suggest that the 200 megapixel Sensor used in Xiaomi 12T Pro may be a Samsung HP1, the same model as the Moto X30 Pro.
At 1/1.22 inch, the HP1 sensor is larger than the SONY IMX707, which measures 1/1.28 inch, has a unit pixel area of 0.64μm and supports ChameleonCell pixel synthesis. In dim light, Samsung’s 200 megapixels can be combined into 1.28μm pixels to generate 50 megapixels.
Xiaomi 12T Pro also comes with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle and 2-megapixel macro, and a 20-megapixel front-facing camera.
In terms of core configuration, Xiaomi 12T Pro adopts a 6.67-inch straight screen with a resolution of 1220×2712 and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ flagship processor and has a battery capacity of 5000mAh. It supports 120W wired flash charging but does not support wireless charging.

It is worth noting that Mi 12T, which also appeared on the stage, is powered by Mediatek Dimensity 8100 processor, with a 108-megapixel rear main camera and 120W cable fast charge.
It is expected to debut in October.
