Xiaomi router AX9000/AX6000 has now launched a stable version of firmware to all users. The new firmware number of the AX9000 is 1.0.168, and the new firmware number of the AX6000 is 1.0.103.
The two new firmware updates contain the same content: Fixes compatibility issues with certain browser versions in special scenarios.
This is to resolve the previous “Edge browser version 109 web page cannot open” issue. January 21, Microsoft Edge browser micro post said, recently received feedback from some users using Xiaomi router, Edge browser upgraded to version 109, there are problems such as unable to open normally, continuous web browsing.
To solve this problem, Xiaomi router users can refer to the temporary solution provided by Xiaomi Router Forum. In the future, Xiaomi router will release OTA upgrade for handling.
According to the posts on the Xiaomi router forum, this issue seems to involve the certificate issue of the Xiaomi router, which mainly occurs in the Chromium browser based on which the secure DNS function is enabled.

It is known that Microsoft has fixed 14 different security issues in the 109 version of the Edge browser, two of which are specific to the Edge, while the remaining 12 issues are shared with other Chromium-based browsers, including Chrome, Brave, Vivaldi, Opera and others.
