Xiaomi has just introduced the all-new Redmi Pad SE tablet to the European market, showcasing a delightful trio of colors: lavender purple, graphite gray, and mint green.
The pricing for the different models is as follows:
- The 4+128GB variant is priced at 199 Euros, which translates to approximately 1578 yuan ($215).
- The 6+128GB model comes in at 229 euros (around 1816 yuan or $249).
- Lastly, the 8+128GB version carries a price tag of 249 euros (approximately 1975 yuan or $270).
Under the hood, this tablet boasts the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chip, setting it apart from its predecessor, the Redmi Pad, which premiered in India last year, housing the robust MediaTek Helio G99.
Display-wise, the Redmi Pad SE is adorned with an 11-inch LCD screen that boasts a resolution of 1200*1920. The 8-bit panel comes alive with a peak brightness of 400 nits and the ability to adapt its refresh rate between 30Hz and 90Hz. With a stunning array of 16.7 million colors and a contrast ratio of 1500:1, the display covers 70% of the NTSC color gamut. Impressively, the screen-to-body ratio stands at 84.4%. TÜV Rheinland has granted it dual eye protection certification, a testament to its visual comfort.
Te tablet has an 8-megapixel primary camera with an f/2.0 aperture, while the front showcases a 5-megapixel selfie lens with an f/2.2 aperture. Video calls benefit from the innovative FocusFrame feature, which automatically tracks subjects, ensuring they remain centered in the frame.
The tablet houses an 8000mAh battery, and its 10W charging support is a welcome addition. According to official specifications, it can provide an astounding 21 hours of video playback and up to 12 hours of gaming.
Design-wise, the tablet impresses with its sleek metal unibody construction, weighing a mere 478 grams and measuring 255.53 x 167.08 x 7.36 mm. Connectivity options include a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also supports Wi-Fi at 5GHz and Bluetooth 5.0. Operating on the Android 13-based MIUI 14 system, this tablet offers a delightful user experience.
