Today, we’re diving into an unboxing and detailed review of the Kiiboom Loop75, a gorgeous 75% mechanical keyboard in a striking blue and grey gradient. Packed with premium features, this keyboard doesn’t just look the part—it’s built to elevate your typing experience to a new level. If you’re already intrigued, stay tuned; you can find purchase links below. So let’s get started and see what makes the Loop75 stand out!

    Buy on Official Website

    Unboxing

The box includes everything you need: the Kiiboom Loop75 keyboard, a USB-C cable, kick-up and switch pullers, a hex driver for easy disassembly, and a thick PET dust cover to keep it pristine. Unboxing the Loop75 reveals its solid aluminum build and modular design, showcasing both durability and elegance.

    Design and Build

The Kiiboom Loop75 stands out with its impressive design and high build quality. Its 75% layout balances compactness and functionality, providing essential keys, 12 function keys, and more space than its 65% predecessor. Built with two CNC-machined aluminum blocks, its modular construction creates a unique aesthetic. The blue and grey dual-tone color scheme adds a sleek, modern look that sets it apart from the standard palettes of most keyboards.

Built from a solid aluminum frame, the Loop75 is substantial, weighing around 1.8 kilograms. This weight enhances its stability, making it resistant to movement during intense typing or gaming sessions. The keycaps are gradient PBT, which ensures durability and shine resistance while adding a tasteful visual gradient that transitions from deep blue on one side to soft grey on the other. The keyboard’s frame and keycaps are designed to maintain their pristine look for years, providing a timeless addition to any desk setup.

    Gasket-Mounted

In terms of feel, the Loop75 offers a premium typing experience, thanks to its gasket-mounted design and multiple layers of sound-dampening materials, including poron foam and IXPE switch padding. This design minimizes unwanted vibrations and creates a controlled, soft-cushion feel with each keystroke. The Matcha Latte 2.0 switches, with a 45-gram actuation force, provide tactile feedback and a pleasant clacky sound profile without being overly loud, making the Loop75 ideal for both typing enthusiasts and gamers. This structural attention to detail not only improves functionality but also results in a satisfyingly sturdy keyboard that’s built to last.

    Switches

The Kiiboom Loop75’s Matcha Latte 2.0 switches are designed to deliver an exceptionally smooth and enjoyable typing experience. With a reduced operating force of 45g, down from 55g in earlier versions, they’re easier on the fingers, especially for longer typing sessions.

These switches are crafted entirely from polycarbonate (PC) material, replacing the older nylon and PC blend. This material change contributes to a consistent and solid feel during keystrokes.

The total travel distance has been adjusted to 3.8mm, up from 3.6mm, allowing for a deeper and more cushioned typing experience. With their slight “pop” and crisp sound, the Matcha Latte 2.0 switches deliver a tactile but controlled click, ensuring you get the tactile feedback you desire without excessive clacking.

When paired with the gasket-mounted design and the multiple sound-dampening layers in the Loop75, including PORON foam and IXPE switch padding, they help achieve an acoustically rich typing experience while minimizing hollow sounds.

    Connectivity

The Kiiboom Loop75 keyboard offers tri-mode connectivity, supporting Wi-Fi, USB-C, and Bluetooth for easy use across setups. Its 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection provides a stable, low-latency experience, ideal for gaming and fast response needs.

The USB-C port enables both high-speed wired connection and charging, ensuring continuous operation. Switching between Bluetooth and Wi-Fi is straightforward, allowing you to connect to multiple devices and toggle between them seamlessly. This flexible connectivity, paired with a 4000mAh battery, makes the Loop75 reliable for home and mobile use.

    Battery and Charging

The Kiiboom Loop75 features an impressive 4000mAh battery that is designed to keep up with your busy lifestyle, offering up to a week of usage on a single charge. This extended battery life is particularly beneficial for users who engage in a mix of gaming and office work. The keyboard manages its power consumption efficiently, allowing for optimal performance whether you’re utilizing its vibrant RGB lighting during gaming sessions or opting for a more subdued setup while working.

The versatility in battery performance allows users to enjoy a seamless experience across various use cases. When using the RGB lighting, you can expect slightly reduced battery life; however, with balanced use, where RGB is enabled during breaks and turned off during intensive typing sessions, the keyboard still maintains impressive longevity. This makes the Loop75 suitable for both casual gamers and professionals who require a reliable and long-lasting device.

Charging the Loop75 is convenient and user-friendly. You can fully charge it in about 2 to 2.5 hours, making it easy to plug in during a lunch break or overnight and be ready to go quickly. The keyboard uses a USB-C charging port, ensuring fast and efficient charging, as expected with modern peripherals. Overall, the battery and charging capabilities of the Kiiboom Loop75 are designed to give you the freedom to work and play without constantly worrying about running out of power.

    Experience

I’ve had an overwhelmingly positive experience with the Kiiboom Loop75. From the moment I unboxed it, its stunning design impressed me. The blue and grey gradient finish catches the eye and adds a modern aesthetic to my workspace. Its modular structure, made of two aluminum blocks, looks sophisticated and enhances its sturdiness. Unlike lightweight keyboards that shift during use, the Loop75 stays firmly in place, even during vigorous typing or gaming sessions.

Typing on the Loop75 brings joy. The Matcha Latte 2.0 switches provide delightful tactile feedback with each keystroke, making typing both smooth and satisfying. With a lower operating force of 45 grams, the keys require just the right amount of pressure, which reduces finger fatigue during extended use. The sound-dampening features effectively minimize any hollow sounds, creating a pleasant auditory experience that makes typing rewarding.

The Loop75 excels in connectivity with its multi-mode options, allowing seamless transitions between wired and wireless use. Its 4000mAh battery provides long-lasting performance, minimizing the need for frequent recharging. I especially appreciate the RGB lighting, which enhances the keyboard’s appearance and can be customized via software to add a personal touch that reflects my style.

The Loop75 performs exceptionally well across various use cases, whether I’m engaged in high-paced gaming or typing long documents. The keyboard’s solid construction and thoughtful design elements come together to create a device that not only looks good but also feels good to use. Overall, the Kiiboom Loop75 has proven to be a worthy addition to my setup, providing a fantastic blend of aesthetics, functionality, and comfort that makes every keystroke enjoyable.

    Verdict

The Kiiboom Loop75 is a remarkable mechanical keyboard that combines striking aesthetics and robust performance. Constructed from high-quality aluminum, the Loop75 looks premium and incredibly durable, weighing in at over 2kg. This substantial weight contributes to its stability, ensuring that it remains securely in place during intense gaming or typing sessions. While it is priced at $152.99, which is slightly higher than some competitors like the TIDE75 and Chilkey ND75, the Loop75’s unique modular design, stunning gradient keycaps, and superior build quality justify the investment.

This keyboard combines style with excellent functionality. Switch effortlessly between devices using USB-C, Bluetooth, or 2.4G wireless connectivity. The upgraded Matcha Latte 2.0 switches provide a satisfying tactile feel, balancing responsiveness with comfort. Customizable RGB lighting lets you personalize your setup to match your style. The Kiiboom Loop75 is a top choice for gamers and typists, offering both style and performance in the mechanical keyboard market.
