Igeekphone News on September 10th: This morning, the ultra-thin iPhone Air was officially unveiled. This device is the first to be equipped with the A19 Pro chip, and the standard version of iPhone 17 is the first to be equipped with the A19 chip.
First is the A19 Pro. The A19 Pro chip equipped in the iPhone Air has a 6-core CPU and a 5-core GPU. Apple claims it to be the fastest CPU in the history of smart phones.

Not only that, the A19 Pro GPU has incorporated an AI acceleration unit, updated the second-generation dynamic cache, and enhanced the speed of mathematical operations. Each GPU core is equipped with a neural network accelerator. The official claims that its computing power is comparable to that of the MacBook Pro.

Then there is the A19 chip. This chip was first launched in the standard version of iPhone 17. Its CPU is designed with 6 cores, including 2 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores. The GPU is designed with 5 cores and can handle graphics-intensive tasks with ease.

It is worth noting that the standard version of iPhone 17 also features a high refresh rate, with a refresh rate reaching 120Hz. This is the first time that Apple has used a high refresh rate screen on a standard model, marking that the entire iPhone series of this generation has entered the high refresh rate era.
