Xiaomi held its autumn new product launch event and officially released the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro, with a starting price of 2,799 yuan.
The Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro features a 11.2-inch high-definition and high-refresh-rate eye-protecting screen with a 3.2K ultra-clear resolution, a 144Hz high refresh rate, and a peak brightness of up to 800nits, making it clearly visible outdoors.
At the same time, the screen has a deep eye-protection capability through the coordination of software and hardware. It can dynamically adjust the screen display according to the natural rhythm and has passed the triple eye-protection certification of German TUV Rheinland.

The Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro features an all-metal integrated body design, with a thickness of only 5.75mm and a weight of 485g. Even when paired with a keyboard case, it weighs only around 800g, making it almost non-selective.
Compared with its predecessor, the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro has achieved a double reduction in thickness and weight. However, its battery capacity has increased instead of decreased. It is equipped with a standard 9200mAh large-capacity battery and supports 67W fast charging.

It is also equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Ultra processor and the latest generation Wi-Fi 7, providing a faster and more stable network experience. It also features a variety of practical configurations such as 4mic professional noise reduction, USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface, infrared remote control, and NFC one-touch transmission.
It is equipped with a 50-megapixel rear camera and a 32-megapixel front camera. Besides facial recognition, it also supports fingerprint recognition.
In addition, the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro also launched the Xiaomi Pengpai OS 3 for the first time on the tablet end. It supports a brand-new split-screen layout, PC-level browsers, PC-level WPS, CAJ, CAD applications, etc. It is compatible with a floating keyboard and a stylus, significantly enhancing productivity.

In terms of sound quality, the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro is equipped with flagship four speakers and supports four-channel immersive surround sound. The newly upgraded adaptive audio function uses the front camera AlwaysOn to detect the user’s usage distance, simultaneously perform sound field matching, and dynamically adjust the sound field parameters to ensure a consistent listening experience at different distances.
What’s more worth mentioning is that the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro also supports running PC games locally. It is equipped with the XiaomiWinPlay engine, which performs three-layer virtualization translation for the instruction set, API interface and graphics capabilities necessary for Windows games, allowing users to play Windows games stably and smoothly on their Pads.

Currently, it supports “It Takes Two”, “Hollow Knight”, and “Hollow Knight: Song of Silk”. After downloading the official games through the Steam platform, you can enjoy them by connecting a Bluetooth game controller.
