Igeekphone reported on March 30th that according to Lenovo’s PSREF product specification reference webpage, the company has launched the IdeaPad Slim 5x (11) slim notebook computer equipped with Qualcomm’s 6-core Snapdragon X2P-42-100 processor. There are two models available: 13.3 inches and 15 inches.
Snapdragon X2P-42-100 is the lowest-end model in the current Snapdragon X2 series from Qualcomm. It has only 6 CPU cores and is equipped with an X2-45 GPU that has been significantly throttled down to 0.91GHz. The NPU computing power still remains at 80TOPS.

The IdeaPad Slim 5x (11) all come with onboard LPDDR5X-9523 memory and offer 1 PCIe Gen4 ×4 M.2 2242 slot. In terms of the screen, all models of the 13.3″ type are equipped with IPS panels, with options for FHD+ 60Hz touch / QHD+ 120Hz non-touch; the 15″ version offers FHD+ 120Hz IPS touch or QHD+ 165Hz mirror OLED non-touch.

This lightweight laptop is equipped with 2 USB-C 10Gbps ports, 2 USB-A 5Gbps ports, 1 HDMI 2.1 TMDS port, 1 microSD card reader, 1 3.5mm dual-function audio jack, and supports Wi-Fi 7 wireless network.
The 13.3″ version of IdeaPad Slim 5x (11) is equipped with a 54.7Wh battery, with an initial weight of 1.19kg and a thickness of 14.3mm; the 15″ version offers the option of either a 54.7Wh or 70Wh battery, with an initial weight of 1.41kg (Note from Igeekphone: OLED model) and a thickness of 15.6mm.
