Best DPS for Raiding in Midnight: Tier List

Brady CottonBy Brady CottonJune 22, 2026

DPS (Damage Per Second) has a very important role in raids. This role shows how fast a group kills bosses and clears content, and each specialization has its own strong and weak sides. In this overview, we made a full DPS raid tier list for Midnight to help you choose the best classes for high-level content. Even if you use a WoW raid boost, this tier list helps you better understand what each DPS does well and where it has problems.

    Full DPS Class Tier List

    Tier Class / Spec Explanation
S Demonology Warlock Very strong single-target damage and great raid tools
Destruction Warlock Big AoE damage, weaker when hitting only one target
Frost Mage Strong control and big burst damage windows
Devourer Demon Hunter New ranged DPS, very mobile with strong burst
Devastation Evoker Great AoE damage, but weaker defenses
A+ Marksmanship Hunter Strong burst damage, average long-term damage
Fury Warrior High AoE damage and useful raid abilities
Havoc Demon Hunter Well-rounded DPS with good survivability
Shadow Priest Strong single-target and AoE with extra raid utility
Unholy Death Knight Reworked playstyle, very strong single-target damage
Retribution Paladin Good single-target damage with solid burst
Augmentation Evoker Boosts teammates, personal damage is average
Survival Hunter Easy to play with steady long fights damage
A Feral Druid Strong burst damage and combo-based attacks
Windwalker Monk Talent-dependent, works better in smaller groups
Enhancement Shaman Balanced damage with good AoE
Balance Druid Very strong AoE, weaker defensive tools
B Affliction Warlock Smooth damage over time, average AoE
Arms Warrior Task-focused damage, overall average output
Subtlety Rogue Short cooldowns, very strong in Mythic+
Frost Death Knight Big burst damage and good survivability
Fire Mage Very cooldown-focused, damage drops without CDs
Outlaw Rogue Easy to play with steady damage
Arcane Mage Needs good resource control, strong burst
C Elemental Shaman Simple AoE damage, weak on priority targets
Beast Mastery Hunter Beginner-friendly with average damage
Assassination Rogue Strong priority damage, easy DoT gameplay

DPS rankings are based on raw damage numbers, for sure. How easy and helpful the class is for the raid also counts. S and A+ tiers include the most dependable DPS options, with strong burst damage and abilities that support the group. That’s why these tiers are often used in WoW raid boosting.

Compared to S and A+, B and C tiers have clear weak points. They deal less damage over time, need very specific talent choices, or depend a lot on long cooldowns. Still, even lower-tier DPS perform fine if the player understands the class and plays it correctly

    S-Tier: The Strongest DPS

S-Tier includes classes that deal very high single-target damage and also perform great in AoE fights. These specs are often used in WoW raid boosting because they give steady, reliable damage in almost any boss fight.

Demonology Warlock and Frost Mage stand out in this tier. They deal strong AoE damage and bring useful tools for the raid. These specs are great when big burst damage or mob control is needed, and they stay strong in most raid mechanics

    A+ Tier: Strong DPS

Classes in A+ Tier, like Fury Warrior and Marksmanship Hunter, perform best in certain situations, such as sustained damage or focusing on important targets. Players pick them when they want a mix of burst and raid support.

Havoc Demon Hunter is great for quickly clearing groups of enemies, while Shadow Priest gives steady shadow damage plus extra help for the raid. In the WoW raid service, A+ Tier DPS are very reliable but need a bit more practice with fight mechanics.

    A Tier: Strong, but Situational

Feral Druid or Windwalker Monk do good damage, but sometimes boss mechanics or target caps limit them. These DPS are fine for medium fights and steady AoE damage, or when the S and A+ classes are already in the group.

Enhancement Shaman and Balance Druid are also good during AoE phases, but on single-target fights, they might fall behind the top DPS.

    B Tier: Average DPS

Affliction Warlock or Outlaw Rogue are popular classes in B-Tier. They do a bit less overall damage, but still have a place in a raid. You choose them if you already have someone stronger in the group or for certain fight mechanics. Their DPS comes in short bursts and depends on timing your cooldowns right.

    C Tier: Lower DPS

Elemental Shaman, Beast Mastery Hunter, or Assassination Rogue are the most beginner-friendly C-Tier classes. They don’t give much damage in a raid, but help fill gaps in the team if you miss, for example, anyone to cover extra AoE or ranged spots. Elemental Shaman or Beast Mastery Hunter is perfect to fill in and still contribute to the fight.

They don’t give much damage in a raid, but help fill gaps in the team if needed. In the WoW raid carry service, they’re rarely used for fast progress, but they’re fine for learning and practice.

    Conclusion

If you’re new to DPS in Midnight raids or just want to get better in your progress, here’s the solution:

    • Go for S or A+ tiers if you want the biggest damage output.
    • B and C tiers are fine for beginners or if you’re just practicing mechanics.
    • To get used to your class and grab some better gear, you can book a raid boost.

This is how to test your DPS in real fights, pick up loot, and level up your skills faster. Try LerpeStore – a popular WoW raid carry service with tons of successful runs and skilled players. Using them makes it clear what’s included, and you can get tips on which DPS class works best for you.
