A blogger posted a revelation on social media that the upcoming Xiaomi MIX Fold 5 adopts the currently popular wide folding design. The leaked engineering version comes with a complete triple-camera system, and the main camera uses a newly customized 2-billion-pixel sensor. This is also the first wide folding flagship officially mass-produced by Xiaomi.
What is more worthy of attention is that the Xiaomi MIX Fold 5 will be the first to be equipped with Xiaomi’s brand-new Xingji O3 self-developed chip. According to the current leaked information, Xingji O3 adopts the most advanced 3nm process technology from TSMC. The overall computing power and energy efficiency ratio of this chip have reached a new high level since the launch of Xiaomi’s self-developed chips.
Previously, the president of Xiaomi Group, Lu Weibing, disclosed during a live stream that the Xiaomi Xuanji chip would launch a new iteration version this year. This is a self-developed chip with extremely strong comprehensive capabilities. There will be a flagship product that performs exceptionally well and (firstly launched) this new chip.
