As mainstream gaming laptops push further into luxury pricing territory, CHUWI is proving that high-performance gaming doesn’t have to cost a fortune. Today, the global value-innovation pioneer officially launched the all-new GTBook X—a 15.6-inch gaming laptop powered by the latest Intel® Core™ 7 processor 230H and a discrete NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3050 Laptop GPU. It is aimed at students, first-time gaming laptop buyers, and users looking for a lower-cost system for gaming, school work, and AI tools.

“With the GTBook X, we set out to prove that exceptional gaming performance shouldn’t be locked behind a four-figure price tag,” said Jesea Yang, CEO of CHUWI. “We refused to compromise on the essentials—full-power GPU, 144Hz display, and full upgradability—all while keeping it under $1,000. This is our commitment to making PC gaming more accessible to students and first-time buyers around the world.”

The Anti-Bottleneck Gaming Laptop
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU in the GTBook X runs at a full 80W Total Graphics Power with 4GB of GDDR6 VRAM. Many entry-level gaming laptops configure the RTX 3050 Laptop GPU at just 35W or 45W, a configuration that can significantly reduce sustained performance under extended gaming loads. What sets this apart is that the CHUWI GTBook X allows the RTX 3050 Laptop GPU to operate at a higher sustained power level than many entry-level configurations.
In Turbo Mode on AC power — supplied by the bundled 180W power adapter — the system delivers up to 140W of combined CPU and GPU power, with the CPU reaching up to 45W and the GPU reaching up to 95W with NVIDIA Dynamic Boost. 2nd Generation hardware ray tracing cores handle real-time lighting simulation in supported titles; 3rd Generation Tensor Cores enable DLSS frame-rate upscaling and accelerate creative workloads including real-time noise cancellation.

140W of Dynamic Power Unleashed: Intel Core 7 Power Meets Heavy-Duty Cooling
Under the hood, the GTBook X pairs its RTX graphics with the newly engineered Intel® Core™ 7 processor 230H—a processor that reached the market in Q1 2026. Sporting a hybrid architecture of 6 Performance-cores and 4 Efficient-cores, this 10-core, 16-thread powerhouse clocks up to a blistering 5.2GHz. Backed by a massive 24MB Intel Smart Cache, it delivers a PassMark score of 24,533—outperforming previous-generation processors such as the AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS (17,627) and the Core i7-13620H (23,357).
Cooling: Engineered for the Full Power Envelope
To sustain this performance during marathon raids, CHUWI deployed its advanced cooling system. Anchored by five heavy-duty heat pipes, twin high-RPM cooling fans, and high-density copper fins, the thermal array effortlessly dissipates heat to sustain up to a 140W Combined CPU + GPU total power distribution (45W CPU / 95W GPU) in Turbo Mode.
Gamers can shift gears instantly via a physical Mode Button, toggling between stealthy Office Mode for battery longevity, Balance Mode for balanced efficiency, or Turbo Mode to push the system to its absolute engineering limits.

Upgrade Without Limits
The GTBook X RTX 3050 laptop ships ready-to-play with 16GB of high-speed dual-channel memory and a 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD. Both are user-upgradable: two SO-DIMM sockets support up to 64GB total, and dual M.2 2280 slots with PCIe 4.0×4 bandwidth support up to 2TB. No soldered components limit the upgrade path.
15.6″ Immersive 144Hz IPS Display
The 15.6-inch Full HD (1920×1080) IPS display delivers a fast 144Hz refresh rate, displaying noticeably smoother motion during fast-paced games. Whether tracking enemies in FPS titles, navigating high-speed racing scenes, or scrolling through everyday content, the higher refresh rate reduces motion blur and delivers a more responsive visual experience. Combined with IPS technology and wide viewing angles, the display balances gaming speed with vibrant everyday entertainment.

Premium Features. Complete Connections.
Rounding out the package is pre-installed Windows 11 Pro for elite productivity, Intel Wi-Fi 6, an immersive RGB backlit keyboard, and an uncompromising, perimeter-arranged I/O array that puts premium setups to shame: dual-display output via HDMI 2.1 and Mini DP (both supporting 4K @ 120Hz), a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, triple USB-A ports (including two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1), Gigabit Ethernet, and a dedicated full-size SD card reader.
