OnePlus 5T went out of stock in some of the major markets like North America and India at the beginning of this month. Moreover, the company has been teasing the different features of the phone since the past few weeks. These things have clearly hinted that the company is prepping up for the arrival of OnePlus 6. Today, the company has finally confirmed that it will be debuting the OnePlus 6 in China on May 17. Following is the official launch invite that confirms the unveil date for the OP6.
As it can be seen above, the launch event of the OnePlus 6 will take place at Beijing 751D- Park. The tickets for the launch event will be available for buying beginning from April 27. In the last week, a report had revealed that OnePlus will be holding a launch event in India on May 18 to debut the OP6 phone. Now that the May 17 date has been officially confirmed, it can be said that the May 18 may not be entirely incorrect. It is advisable to wait a bit more to know the launch date for India.
The OnePlus 6 is already confirmed to arrive with a notched display like the iPhone X. Its highest configuration is expected to feature Snapdragon 845 SoC, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. It is expected to be the first OnePlus phone to feature water-resistant chassis.
