Starting from June 1, 2025, the UK has officially implemented a ban on disposable e-cigarettes. All disposable e-cigarette products are prohibited from being sold and circulated within the UK.
As of June 26th, the ban has been in effect for nearly a month. Two Firsts research found that on the well-known British e-cigarette retail platform VAPE CLUB, the ELFBAR AF5000 was all displayed as “sold out”. The platform prominently states on the product page: Disposable e-cigarettes have been banned in the UK and ELFBAR AF5000 has been officially discontinued. The ELFBAR AF5000 is a typical “2+10” structure design and was previously one of the best-selling disposable e-cigarettes in the British market.
On another local e-cigarette distribution platform, Vape.uk, the ELFBAR AF5000 is also marked as discontinued.
Meanwhile, on the ELFBAR UK official website, the ELFBAR AF5000 is shown as “out of stock”, but the page has simultaneously displayed the upcoming replaceable cartridge version of the AF5000. This product continues the original design in terms of appearance and naming, or is intended to enter the market as a compliant alternative.
