AGM Company presented the third version of its protected smartphone called AGM X3. Compared with the previous generation, the novelty has become thinner and lighter, with more powerful hardware and advanced photo capabilities.
The main “chip” AGM X3 was the original design, which includes a special metal frame and shockproof rear cover with a fall protection. The “hanging frame” technology and slightly protruding display frames allow the smartphone to survive accidental falls. Compared to its predecessor, X2, the novelty has become 25% thinner and 13% lighter – the weight of the device is 216 grams.
“The heart” of the handset was the flagship octa-core chipset Snapdragon 845, the amount of RAM is 6GB or 8GB, built-in – 64GB or 128GB, depending on the modification. The capacity of the battery is 4100mAh with support for quick charging Quick Charge 4.0. With this equipment, AGM X3 get 291097 points in AnTuTu.
Display diagonal of 5.99 inches with an aspect ratio of 18: 9 and a brightness of 500 nits is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass of the fifth generation. The back cover of the AGM X3 is slightly curved, preventing the smartphone from accidentally slipping out of the hand. It housed a double module of the main camera. Both of its sensors 12MP and 24MP received an aperture of f / 1.8. Resolution front camera is 20MP. The fingerprint scanner is located below the lenses of the cameras.
Protection AGM X3 corresponds to the US military standard for certification MIL-STD-810G. In addition to stability to fall, the smartphone is able to withstand extreme temperature conditions, while maintaining efficiency in the thirty-degree frost. The smartphone supports Wi-Fi 2×2 MIMO and Dual VoLTE modes, improving the quality of data transmission in places with a weak signal. There is a gadget running Android 8.1 Oreo with the proprietary shell X OS 3.0.
The sound capabilities of the device are represented by JBL stereo speakers, capable of delivering a maximum volume of 98 dB. The quality of the output signal corresponds to a dedicated Smart PA chip, whose effective bandwidth is in the range 400 – 20 000 Hz.
The price of AGM X3 6/64 GB version is $512, the 8/64GB version will cost $586, and for the top version 8/128GB you will have to give $644. Smartphone in a special “crocodile” coloring is more expensive: $732 for a tandem of 8/128 GB, and 8/256 GB version is estimated at $820. The sales date for the presentation was not announced – probably, in the territory of China, the novelty will appear in the coming days.
