Igeekphone reported on July 17th that the technology media NotebookCheck released a blog post today (July 17th), disclosing an internal diagnostic log file and once again revealing the imaging specifications of the Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max.
The report indicates that this diagnostic log file originated from the internal documents of Tata Electronics in India that were leaked by the ransomware organization World Leaks in June. The calibration module confirmed that the iPhone 18 Pro Max supports variable aperture.
The diagnostic data indicates that the ID of the main camera of the Apple iPhone 18 Pro is 0x905, while the ID of the main camera of the iPhone 17 Pro (with a Sony IMX-903 sensor) is 0x903. This suggests that the main camera of the Apple iPhone 18 Pro has been upgraded to a Sony IMX-905 sensor, with the pixel size remaining at 1.22 μm.
