Apple to release 15.5-inch MacBook Air M2 in April

Apple fans, get ready to experience the giant MacBook Air yet! According to the latest news from the overseas supply chain, Apple will launch a 15.5-inch super-large MacBook Air M2 in April 2023. This will be the largest size in the history of the MacBook Air series, and fans are already excited to get their hands on it.

The production of the 15.5-inch screen panels has already begun in Apple’s supply chain company. However, it has been reported that the new MacBook Air will not have an OLED screen and will stick to the traditional LCD panel. Apple will not upgrade the screen material of the MacBook Air until 2024 at the earliest.

The new MacBook Air will come equipped with Apple’s latest M2 chip, which is expected to have a Pro version. The M2 chip adopts TSMC’s second-generation 5nm process and will integrate 40 billion transistors inside, nearly 20% more than the M1 Pro chip and double that of the M2 chip.

The M2 Pro also has a graphics processor with up to 19 cores, three more cores than the M1 Pro chip, and a larger L2 cache. The graphics processing speed is 30% higher than that of the M1 Pro chip, and the image processing performance has been dramatically improved, bringing an experience comparable to that of a game console.

Thanks to the size upgrade, the internal space of the MacBook Air will increase significantly. The new MacBook Air will have a larger battery, and the battery life may be close to 20 hours. This is a significant improvement from the previous models, and it’s sure to be a hit with users who are always on the go.

In addition to the size upgrade and new chip, the new MacBook Air will also upgrade its Wi-Fi to the faster and more stable Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and other protocols.

In conclusion, Apple is all set to launch its latest and biggest MacBook Air in April 2023. This laptop will have a 15.5-inch super-large screen, Apple’s latest M2 chip with a Pro version, faster and more stable Wi-Fi, and a larger battery that could last close to 20 hours. The new MacBook Air will surely be a hit with users looking for a powerful yet portable laptop.
