Igeekphone reported on June 10th that Apple officially released iOS 26 today, which is actually the original iOS 19.
This is the biggest change of the iPhone operating system since iOS 7, which took 12 years to develop.
The new system brings liquid glass technology and a large number of AI functions, which places higher demands on the performance of mobile phones. Therefore, there have been some changes in the models to be adapted this time.
Apple announced that the three models of iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR will no longer be supported and can only remain at iOS 18 forever.
The iPhone 11 series, iPhone SE II and subsequent models can all be upgraded to iOS 26.
As is customary, Apple will push out the official version after the iPhone 17 series launch event in September this year.
