Asus released the Zenfone 8/8 Flip flagship in May last year. But a year later, Asus’ ZenFone 9 series was delayed, prompting skepticism among users.
Whistleblower @Mishaal Rahman has now released a poster for Asus Zenfone 9, showing that the Zenfone 9 will be released on July 28th.
The Zenfone is asus’s new, smaller flagship, with a 5.9-inch screen and a 120Hz refresh rate, even smaller than the Mi 12S (6.28 inches).
Asus ZenFone 9, available in red, blue, black and gray, has a 5.9-inch 120Hz high-refresh screen and is powered by a Snapdragon 8 + flagship processor, according to a leaked video from Asus.
In terms of image, Asus Zenfone 9 adopts rear double camera double ring design, the main camera is SONY IMX766 sensor.
In terms of endurance, Asus Zenfone 9 uses 4300mAh double cell battery. At the same time, the machine adopts the side fingerprint identification, fingerprint power supply two-in-one, located on the right side of the fuselage. In addition, Asus ZenFone 9 supports IP68 dust and water resistance and has a 3.5mm headphone jack. The video also demonstrates two phone cases.
It is worth mentioning that the power button of this machine has a unique design, which can be completed by sliding the power button area.
A screenshot of Asus ZenFone 9, leaked to Equal Leaks on January 2, shows that the ZenFone 9 allows you to take screenshots and open the camera by double-clicking on the back cover. There is no word yet on a release date or price for the ZenFone 9.

For reference, Asus released the Asus Zenfone 8/8 Flip on May 13 last year. The ZenFone 8 and ZenFone 9 are also 5.9-inch flagship models, priced at 5,232.7 yuan. The ZenFone 8 Flip, with a Flip camera, costs about 6,248 yuan.
