According to the Okinawa Times on July 1, BAT Japan issued a statement, “Kent Neo Stick True Rich Tobacco hyper X,” a dedicated tobacco stick for its heated tobacco product “glo™,” will be available for 450 yen ($2.80) including tax.
The new product will be available in major convenience stores, supermarkets and the official “glo™ & VELO” online store from July 8, and will be available in tobacco stores nationwide from September 2.
This is the fourth round of regular brand blend updates since December, and this update brings the total number of regular brands with the new blend formula to six.
At the end of last year, glo™ launched its latest device “glo™ HYPER pro” in Japan and introduced “StickSeal™” technology to prevent tobacco residue in the device after use. The newly released “Kent Neo Stick True Rich Tobacco hyper X” will be paired with “glo™ HYPER pro.”
