Chinese manufacturer Blackview officially introduces the new Blackview S6 smartphone. Since this device is emerging, we suspect that the Chinese company has sold many copies of Blackview S8. Like the S8, the S6 features a Full-Screen front-end design with to the Galaxy S8. Unlike the older brother, the new Smartphone has weaker specifications. However, the new Blackview S6 is an exciting smartphone.
Design
Blackview S6 is a new smartphone that comes with a very cool back design. Another outstanding feature is the metal frame that surrounds the device around. In the top/bottom the frame is thicker and on the sides, it becomes slightly thinner. The housing has a non-removable lid with textured design. At the rear, the Chinese manufacturer used the plastic. Finishes seem to be of good quality. The main attractive feature is the 18: 9 display with a large diagonal of 5.7 inches and a resolution of 1440 × 720 pixels. We have a screen-to-body ratio of 80%, which is quite a lot. The clear display is not bezel-less, but all four sides are narrow. From Blackview’s images, we notice that the screen is curved far enough to the side. Its overall dimensions are 155 x 73.4 x 9.7 mm with a weight of 215 grams.
Hardware
The device has a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor with Mali T720 MP2 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The Blackview S6 smartphone comes with a 16GB of inbuilt memory which can expandable up to 128GB memory via microSD card expansion. One of the greater things about this device is the massive internal 4180mAh battery! But that also makes this unit super thick with 9.7mm thickness. Which for sure can be annoying if you are used to slim Apple and Samsung phones.
Features
The camera on the front is a bit lower resolution than what I would like to see the just 2.0MP lens. On the rear, it looks greater with 8.0MP + 0.3MP lens. We notice that the LED flash is present next to the camera, which in turn is dual. It runs Android 7.0 Nougat OS and comes with a 4180 mAH battery. The device sports an 8MP+0.3MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front camera as well. It also houses a fingerprint scanner. The device connectivity option includes Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, 4G, Dual Sim and micro USB port.
