Flagship Performance with MediaTek Dimensity 9400+
One of the major highlights of the Blackview XPLORE 6 is its MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor. Built on a 3nm process, this flagship chipset is designed to handle demanding applications, multitasking, gaming and other intensive workloads.
The phone comes with 18GB of physical LPDDR5X RAM and offers storage options of 512GB and 1TB using UFS 4.1 technology. This combination provides substantial room for applications, high-resolution photos, videos and other large files.
Blackview also integrates a VC liquid-cooling system to help manage heat during extended periods of demanding use. The device runs DokeOS 5.3 based on Android 16, bringing modern software features and additional AI-powered functionality.
Earlier reports also revealed important details about the device, including its flagship chipset and advanced camera hardware, as covered in our Blackview XPLORE 6 specifications leak report.
Advanced Camera System with Periscope Telephoto
Photography is another important feature of the XPLORE 6. Unlike many traditional rugged smartphones that prioritize durability over camera performance, this model features a four-camera system built around 50MP sensors.
Its rear camera setup includes:
-
50MP main camera with optical and electronic image stabilization.
-
50MP ultra-wide camera for landscapes and wider scenes.
-
50MP periscope telephoto camera for long-distance photography.
-
50MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
The periscope telephoto camera is particularly interesting for outdoor users who need to capture distant objects, wildlife or landscape details. Blackview also includes the ZoomX G1 teleconverter, which is designed to extend the camera’s optical zoom capabilities.
For users who frequently take photos during outdoor activities, this camera combination provides more flexibility than a conventional rugged phone.
3.2K AMOLED Display with 2600-Nit Brightness
The XPLORE 6 features a 6.73-inch 3.2K AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 × 3200 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Its peak brightness reaches 2,600 nits, helping maintain screen visibility when using the phone outdoors under strong sunlight. The high-resolution panel also provides detailed visuals for watching videos, browsing photos and reading content.
Another useful addition is the 1.47-inch AMOLED secondary display on the rear. It provides convenient access to selected information and functions without always needing to activate the main screen.
Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 adds another layer of protection against everyday scratches and impacts.
Massive 12,000mAh Battery and Fast Charging
Battery life is especially important for people who spend extended periods away from power outlets. Blackview equips the XPLORE 6 with a large 12,000mAh silicon-carbon battery designed to support longer usage between charges.
The device supports 120W wired fast charging and 80W wireless charging. It also offers reverse charging, allowing users to supply power to compatible accessories when needed.
Whether used for outdoor navigation, photography, communication or entertainment, the large battery capacity makes the XPLORE 6 an interesting option for users who prioritize battery endurance.
Rugged Protection for Outdoor Activities
The XPLORE 6 is not just a high-spec smartphone with a large battery. Its rugged construction is designed for challenging environments where ordinary smartphones may be less suitable.
It carries IP68 and IP69K protection ratings and MIL-STD-810H certification, providing protection against dust, water and demanding environmental conditions.
These features make it worth considering for outdoor enthusiasts, construction professionals and travelers who need a smartphone built with durability in mind.
Is the Blackview XPLORE 6 Worth Buying During Black Friday?
The Blackview XPLORE 6 brings together several features that are not commonly found in one rugged smartphone. Its Dimensity 9400+ processor, 50MP periscope telephoto camera, 3.2K AMOLED display and 12,000mAh battery make it more than a basic outdoor communication device.
The two storage configurations also give buyers flexibility. The 512GB version at $1,199 may be suitable for users who want flagship performance and plenty of storage, while the 1TB model at $1,399 offers additional space for large video files, photographs and applications.
