Circular has launched the new Circular Ring 3 smart ring series, which includes the Ring 3 Pro and Ring 3 Slim. Both models feature NFC for contactless payments and built-in vibration alerts for silent alarms, reminders, and health notifications. The Circular Ring 3 series is expected to launch in early 2027.
Both Ring 3 models will be available in gold, rose gold, silver, and black, with sizes ranging from 6 to 14. They use a titanium-based construction, offer water resistance to 50 meters, and support wireless charging.
Smart ring battery life is another major improvement. The Circular Ring 3 Pro can last up to 12 days on a charge, compared with around seven days for the previous Ring 2. The Ring 3 Slim offers up to 10 days of battery life.
Circular Ring 3 Pro Adds ECG and AFib Detection
The Ring 3 Pro is the more advanced model in the lineup and focuses heavily on health monitoring. It features an ECG sensor that can be used to detect signs of atrial fibrillation (AFib).
Circular also lists several additional health-tracking capabilities for the Pro model, including blood pressure trend monitoring, blood glucose tracking, advanced sleep analysis, and broader physiological measurements.
These features position the Ring 3 Pro as more than a basic activity tracker, with a stronger focus on continuous health and wellness data.
Ring 3 Slim Focuses on Essential Health Tracking
The Circular Ring 3 Slim is designed as the thinner and simpler option for users who mainly want everyday smart ring health tracking.
It tracks key metrics such as sleep, heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), blood oxygen saturation (SpO₂), skin temperature, and daily activity. Its maximum battery life is rated at up to 10 days.
Compared with the Pro model, the Slim version places less emphasis on advanced health measurements while maintaining the core tracking features most users would expect from a smart ring.
Vibration Alerts for Alarms and Health Reminders
A shared feature across the Ring 3 lineup is finger-based vibration alerts. The built-in vibration system allows users to receive notifications without relying on sound or checking a smartphone screen.
The feature can be used for silent wake-up alarms, medication reminders, and important health alerts. Circular also says the vibration feedback can guide users during breathing exercises.
The Circular Ring 3 series combines health tracking, NFC payments, longer battery life, and vibration alerts in a compact smart ring. The Ring 3 Pro offers more advanced features such as AFib detection, while the Ring 3 Slim focuses on essential health and activity tracking with a lighter design.
